Description
This Centaurea Cyanus also known as Cornflower (one of my favourite flowers) has been given a new ‘brick’ texture adding interest and bringing out the stunning blues, purples and lilacs that are perfectly natural to it and untouched.
I took this photograph in Dover, Kent whilst out for the day with my family watching the cross-channel ferries and other sea traffic coming from and going to France and up and down the English Channel. The soft background brings the cornflower out and creates a lovely image that somehow is quintessentially British.
As with all my giclée prints this image is printed on excellent quality 308gsm photo rag paper to give the highest quality results possible.
