Description

This amazing looking bird just takes my breath away. He looks wonderful with his red and white cheeks and those stunning feathers standing straight up forming that crown on top of his head.  I love the way the body feather resemble waves from the ocean crashing across its back. Truly a wonderful sight to behold but sadly one that may not last as these birds are on the IUCN’s red list, meaning they are endangered and their numbers falling.  There is more about this on my blog so hop over there if you to read more.
