Description

Sitting as it is at such a jaunty angle this flower could be wearing the small tortoiseshell as a fascinator for a friend’s wedding. I love the colours in this image, the blues of the design at the end of the wings framed by black and the orange, which to me is more ginger, which I like as I am ginger too, so I have an affinity with these butterflies!  The colours work well together with the pinks of the flower and greens of the background. The ray of sunshine across the small tortoiseshell and the flower add to the feeling of warmth and long summer salad days.
